Ti West sets Amazon series “Bloodlust” as next project.

Coming off of this year’s “MaXXXine”, Ti West has stated that he won’t go forward with the plan to expand ‘X’ trilogy anymore. He confirmed that this summer’s “MaXXXine” was indeed the last one and that he is “done” with the franchise which included “X” and “Pearl”.

It now looks like West has lined up his next project, an Amazon series titled “Bloodlust”. Singer & songwriter Halsey is set to co-write the screenplay with West. The series is being described as a “dark comedy”. Plot details are unavailable as of now.

Back in May, West was teasing a potential idea for a fourth film in the “X” series. He stated that more than a month before the release of “MaXXXine”. The film, starring Mia Goth, wound up getting a lukewarm response from critics and audience, mostly because of the failed third act.
