First Images of Lynne Ramsay’s ‘Die, My Love’ starring Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence.

Yesterday, we got the first look images from Lynne Ramsay’s thriller “Die, My Love”, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson and LaKeith Stanfield. The Scottish filmmaker co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh. Adapting from the 2017 novel by Argentinian author Ariana Harwicz. Additional cast includes Sissy Spacek and Nick Nolte.

Set in rural America [or in rural France, if the film stays true to the novel], ‘Die, My Love’ is a portrait of a woman (Lawrence) engulfed by motherhood and driven to the brink of insanity by marriage. Pattinson plays her husband, and Stanfield, her lover.

Lawrence is producing with Justine Ciarrocchi on behalf of Excellent Cadaver. Martin Scorsese is also a producer on the film. The film recently wrapped production in Calgary. we can expect the film in Cannes next year.

‘Die, My Love’ is Ramsay’s first film in seven years. She is coming off of ‘You Were Never Really Here’, a thriller starring Joaquin Phoenix, which won her the Cannes best Screenplay award. she has directed only four features in her 24-year career; “Ratcatcher”, “Morvern Callar”, “We Need To Talk About Kevin” and “You Were Never Really Here”.
